Who we are and what we do?

The Belgian Business Chamber was founded in 1992 as an informal club. Originally, it was a place where Belgian businessmen and their families living in Poland could meet and exchange views. Almost 20 years later our association is now evolving into a new direction and, in addition to the primary goals, it has also the ambition to facilitate and support Belgian business people coming to and working in Poland.

The Belgian Business Chamber aims to:

• promote the Belgian-Polish economic and cultural cooperation,
• promote Belgium in Poland,
• be a forum for exchanging valuable knowledge and experience on how to successfully do business in Poland,
• be a first point of entry for business people and investors in Poland,
• be a point for contacts with a wide variety of institutions and authorities,
• be a meeting platform for the Belgian Expatriate Community in Poland,
• support chosen charity works in Poland.

History

Since 1992 the Belgian Business Chamber (BBC) brings together Belgians who exercise an economic activity in Poland and Poles who have a strong interest or link with Belgium.

In 1992 we started our activities.
In 1998 we became a non-profit association.
In 2002 we changed the name form Belgian Business Club to Belgian Business Chamber.
In 2010 we changed the status from an Association to an Employers' Union.
