Banenmarkt - Job Market for Dutch speakers

As the number of Dutch and Belgian companies in Poland is growing, the need for local staff speaking Dutch is ever increasing. Several universities in Poland have excellent Departments for Dutch language studies, which enjoy an ever increasing popularity. The Job Fair was set up in order to bring together interested companies and potential candidates.
Participation in the Job Market was free of charge.

The conference took place on Thursday 17 March in the Art Hotel Wrocław.

With this involvement, we also wanted to strengthen the presence of the Belgian Business Chamber and it's activities in whole Poland, as stated in our mission and strategy.

Monthly Meeting with the Netherlands-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Polish-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce

Budma - International Construction Fair

The Construction Fair BUDMA is the biggest Construction Fair of Central Europe, with in 2010 1350 company stands and 55.000 visitors. In 2011 (11-15 January) , it was the 20th Jubileee of the ShowRoom.
For years, the Belgian involvement in this fair has been very active. In 2011 again Belgium had one of the biggest national stands (with 2 twin stands of AWEX and FIT in Pawilion 5) .
On Wednesday 12.01 at 16.00 FIT, AWEX and Brussels Export, organised together a Business Mixer in presence of Ambassador Delcorde in Pawilion 5.

BELGIAN DAYS 2010

After the General Assembly of Belgian Business Chamber participants were invited to relax and mix on the Monthly Meeting sponsored by Jan III Sobieski Hotel. During this evening the new members of the Chamber could present their company and its achievement.
Our members had the opportunity to see for the first time public the new website of BBC created by Mr. Przemysław Szot from SZOT iT. Later a short lecture about BSJP was made by Mrs. Agata Fronc. After that Mrs. Clotilde Simonis-Górska showed us paintings of young artists cooperating with her art store Latająca Galeria.

Celebration of The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union

On 11 September 2010 more than 100 diplomats, businessmen and members of our Chamber gathered at the beautiful surroundings of Chojnata Palace to celebrate the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Among the invited guests arrived His Excellency Raoul Delcorde, Ambassador of Belgium in Poland with his Wife, Starost of the Rawski District Mr. Józef Matysiak and representatives of local authorities.
The evening started with the speeches delivered by Mr. Ambassador, Mr. Matysiak, Mr. Krzysztof Malarecki-owner of the Palace and Mr. Maciej Bogucki- President of the Belgian Business Chamber.
During the event guests could listen to marimba concert performed by Axoum Duo. After a short break for business mixer when a masterpiece “Brussels” by Edward Dwurnik has been introduced, everyone returned to admire truly energetic performance of Mrs. Agnieszka Fatyga. She presented an interpretation of songs of Jacques Brel, the greatest Belgian singer, as well as her own repertoire.
The guests enjoyed an evening of conversation, music and valuable raffle prizes, among which were: Belgian beers from Belgian’s Best, Duc D’o’s chocolates sponsored by Nougat Sp.z o.o.and many precious gifts from Warsaw Voice.
We want to thank Pałac Chojnata for giving us the opportunity to celebrate the Presidency in such wonderful place and to our great sponsors for making this celebration even more remarkable.
We are very grateful that we could spend this evening in such notable companionship!

International Family Picnic

On the 4^th of September Belgian Business Chamber, Polish-Swiss Chamber of Commerce and Polish-Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized for their Members and their Families the International Family Picnic.
The event took place on Górka Szczęśliwicka in Warsaw in the beautiful surrounding of Szczęśliwicki Park. Our guests could sledge down the bobsleigh track there or have private lesson of skiing with an experienced instructor.
Adults had the opportunity to relax and enjoy a nice conversation in the best company whereas delicious food was served. While their offspring spent great time playing with the clowns, blowing a soap bubbles or bouncing on the trampoline. Kids could take part in drawing competition where a lot of fantastic prizes were to be won. For our older Members a raffle was prepared with many amazing gifts granted by our sponsors among which were chocolate boxes of Duc d’O from Nougat Sp. z o.o., T-shirts from W.E.S.T. Polska and a large variety of presents from our media sponsor Warsaw Voice.
