On 16 September, our Dispute Resolution Partners Joanna Kolber and Gaetano Jannone will speak at an event organised in collaboration with the Institut des Juristes d’Entreprise / Instituut voor Bedrijfsjuristen.

The topic is “The approach to litigation and the cooperation between the in-house counsel and the attorney: how to increase your company's chances of success in a dispute?”. 

The chances of success in a dispute depend not only on the substantive strength of the case but also on other factors. One of the most crucial ones is a close cooperation between the company lawyer and the attorney. The speakers will explain the crucial aspects of this cooperation in a pragmatic manner. They will discuss, among other things, the preparatory measures within the company and the techniques for the proper follow-up of the files over the years, the potential bottlenecks in the discussions between the in-house counsel and the attorney, the preparation of the litigation plan and of the budget. Several specific topics and new trends in dispute resolution will also be discussed.

This event will be held partially in Dutch and partially in French. 

Format: webinar and physical event at a central location in Brussels (TBC). The number of attendees to the physical event will be limited for sanitary reasons.
