Matexi Polska has chosen general contractor for its investment in Zabłocie (Kraków)

Matexi Polska has concluded a general contractor agreement with Chemobudowa Kraków for the 'Portowa Apartments' investment at Portowa Street in Zabłocie, Kraków.

"We chose Chemobudowa Kraków because of its many years of experience on the Kraków property market and its construction competence. We were looking for an experienced partner who would live up to our vision - a high-quality, modern residential building in which the ecological solutions used would meet the residents' requirements in terms of environmental protection, savings on building operation and their need for an increased quality of life. The combination of Matexi Polska's investment experience with Chemobudowa Kraków's technical competences will guarantee that the investment will be built to the highest standards and with care for the environment. I am convinced that "Apartamety Portowa", with its design referring to the industrial character of the Zabłocie district, will become an important element of the landscape of Krakow's Vistula boulevards," commented Łukasz Lewicki, Project Engineer at Matexi Polska on the selection of the general contractor.

The construction site is a 33-acre plot on which a 7-storey residential building will be built. It will contain 99 flats of varying sizes, commercial premises on the ground floor, a 2-level underground car park and above-ground charging points for electric cars. All flats will have balconies, loggias or their own gardens. The project is aimed at young buyers, families and all Cracovians who value the comfort of living in the post-industrial district of Zabłocie in close proximity to the Old Town, Kazimierz and Stare Podgórze. In addition, the nearby green areas create excellent conditions for cycling and hiking. Construction of the development will begin at the beginning of March 2024 and will take approximately two years to complete. The development went on sale at the beginning of February this year.
